Glory Locz was not built from trend—it was birthed from transformation.

My name is Husaina, and I was born and raised in Houston, Texas—proudly from Mo City.

From an early age, I loved everything connected to beauty and creativity. As a teenager, I taught myself how to do acrylic nails, color my hair, cut my hair, and express myself through personal style. The gift was already present, even before I understood its purpose.

While navigating life as a young woman, I became involved in the street lifestyle because the promise of fast money appealed to me. Although I grew up heavily involved in church, I had not yet developed a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Over time, the Lord began leading me through a long and gradual journey back to Him. As that relationship deepened, I realized I was being called to something greater than myself.

I used to say that when I turned 30, I would get locs. Little did I know that I was walking into footsteps God had already ordained. I initially began studying real estate, but God redirected me toward a calling I had buried as a teenager: natural hair care. That calling ultimately led me to locs and the beginning of Glory Locz.

For the past four years, I have had the honor of serving the Houston community through intentional loc care. Glory Locz is more than a beauty business—it represents restoration, stewardship, purpose, and legacy.

My vision is to help the loc community understand how to cultivate and maintain healthy locs while equipping young people to become successful entrepreneurs through biblical principles. I believe our gifts are seeds entrusted to us by God, and when they are developed with faith, discipline, and integrity, they can produce something that reaches far beyond us.

This journey began with hair, but the vision has always been greater.
